Beeswax bloom - Over time, and especially in cooler weather, beeswax will naturally produce what is called a bloom. When this occurs your candle will appear to have a white film on the wax. Don't be concerned as this will not affect the quality of the candle or the way that it burns. The "bloom" is another sign that the candle is 100% beeswax and has no additional additives. If you are concerned about the look you can remove the bloom by using a hairdryer on a low setting or handling the candle with warm hands.
